We don't just make things. We create things that matter.

Up.Right. was born from a simple encounter — and a desire to make a difference.

In 2017, during one of our first journeys through rural Lithuania, we met women at a reintegration centre. They shared their stories with us over a simple meal and gave us small handmade gifts they had made themselves.

We left with more than those gifts. We left with a question:

What if a business could create something beautiful while also creating opportunities for people?

That question became Up.Right.

Today, Stefan and I live and work in Lithuania, creating natural products for a slower, more conscious way of living — from alpaca wool duvets and pillows to linen bedding, towels and carefully selected pieces for the home.

We work with natural materials because we believe they should feel as good as they look. Linen, wool and other honest materials have character, age beautifully and connect us to nature. Wherever possible, our products are made by hand, in small quantities and with people we know and trust.

Our wool is processed in our own Lithuanian manufactory, where raw alpaca and sheep wool is transformed into soft, natural bedding. Our linen products are individually sewn, and many pieces can be made to your personal wishes.

But Up.Right. is about more than what we make.

Through our work and through Palaima, our boutique hotel in the Lithuanian countryside, we are building places where people can learn, work, develop their abilities and find a new perspective.

We believe that good design can have a good purpose.

That is why every Up.Right. piece carries a little more than craftsmanship.

It carries a story — of nature, people, trust and hope.

Through our work and through Palaima, our boutique hotel in the Lithuanian countryside, we have created a place where you can experience the Up.Right. world for yourself.

At Palaima, our guests sleep in the very linen and natural wool bedding made in our own manufactory. They experience how linen feels against the skin, how alpaca wool creates a wonderfully natural sleeping environment, and how our materials become part of everyday life.

You can surround yourself with the things we create, discover their textures and craftsmanship, and meet the people behind them.

And if you want to go one step further, you can visit our manufactory and see how your own duvet or bedding is made — from the raw wool to the finished piece. You don't just buy a product. You can discover where it comes from, how it is made and who made it.
